Hi there Anthony.
I love your site – really great stuff going on here! One request – please make the font bigger, it’s hurting my eyes to read so small as I want to read all of it……thanks so much,
Louisa.
Hey Antony,
The site is fantastic, have managed to engross myself in it for the entire morning. Hope everyone is fine and happy over there. Hope to see you soon. Love Gill
Hello from Chicago. This is for Louisa: to make the text look bigger press Ctrl and + at the same time. To make it smaller press Ctrl and – at the same time.
It is very difficult to live a life of simplicity for some people because consumerism is so ingrained into the culture. People are valued more for their material wealth than for who they are.
Thats true you have to decide if you are going to live your life the way that makes you happy or the way that pleases others. I know thats not as easy as it is to say and I struggle with it all the time and get sick of explaining my intentions and reasons but at the end of the day I can feel proud when I’ve stuck to my principals. Thats not to say that I don’t break them on a weekly or even daily basis.
I relunctantly felled a fairly large Walnut tree in the spring and am faced with burning some lovely logs. I would rather give them to someone who could use them in a better way.
Hi Antony, how are things going? I’m sure we’d all love an update from you, even if it’s nothing green related. It’s a bit concerning when formerly regular posters vanish
things are going OK thanks I’d love to still do regular posts but I don’t have a computer at the moment or a camera. I also tend to be moving about a lot so have not been very hands on for a while. However I’m still as enthusiastic as ever and will try and carry on when I’m more settled which hopefully wont be too long.
What I myself require to live on another planet, is 1st of all a lawyer, who’s a.s.a.p. & for what-ever why welcome to take ‘It’ up with me, please, so that I can more easily than up till now & of course explain & help you, him & e.g. myself rea-lise, what’s Our Future, an issue on which I must,
however, warn you of any anti moral behavior, so that you don’t compromise e.g. yourselves, I be- lieve in no such behavior, not even on reverse.
Greet’s, Joram.

Great website, it’s so inspiring! I’ve just finished a permaculture design course and really want to live a more sustainable lifestyle. What u write about letting go of the modern lifestyle and feeling the natural cycles is so true.
The herb spiral design looks good, but bad news about your chicken… I suppose that’s the natural way of things??
Have u (or anyone else) got any advice on downshifting? I want to work less, and have more time to live simply, but not sure how to cover my outgoings etc if i stop working. Any advice much appreciated!!
Thanks for taking a look, glad you like it. I think that is perhaps a bigger issue than I can just comment on. I’d suggest doing things in small stages, look at your outgoings see what you could do without but you also don’t want to struggle. I wouldn’t advise quitting your job, you’ll always have rent and bills to pay. Downshifting, living simply or whatever you want to call it is more about a lifestyle choice.
Love your site. I have just moved to live in a barn in Corndale, Northern NSW, Australia. It is the English countryside and the blue sea ..cold fires for a short time, lots of tropical rain and heat.
I want to create a herb medicinal and beautiful mandala. I would love any more assistance and if you have a larger image of the diagram

HI
We do not have the 2 shieves that we need for our ratchet press.
How do we go about getting 2 more as is required?
Thank you so very much for your cooperation,
Bob
