The frost has really taken its toll on the brick path, all the Victorian bricks that we got from freecycle have had it but the ones from our house seem to be holding up fine. The question is do I replace them?

We had a path made of old red bricks in our home in the country. They were set in hard clay-soil, and over the years some bricks turned to powder. You could plant cedum in the badly broken ones, or replace them, but they look lovely for a long time before they vanish into dust.
